Discover the peace of nature in the stunning beauty of this spacious hideaway... Set in a very private, lushly landscaped garden setting on the tidal Bolinas Lagoon, considered one of Marin County’s most significant natural resources. Walls of glass give a framed view of the water and wildlife on the lagoon, stretching to the hills beyond. Four bedrooms and three baths provide accommodations for up to 9 guests. The living room, dining room and kitchen are in the central core of the house with high ceilings, a gas log fireplace, concrete floors and a granite table that seats 10. A multi-level deck with a hot tub off the living room and a deck at the entry furnished for outdoor dining and overlooks the garden.

Diverse habitats of open water, mudflats, and marsh support marine fishes, amphibians, birds and mammals that creates an extremely productive ecosystem. Birders will delight in discovering the 470 bird species that have been noted at the Bolinas Lagoon. As the tide ebbs and flows, the appearance of the shoreline changes greatly with tide flats exposed at low tide. Egrets, herons, hawks, osprey, and waterfowl boast fresh breeding plumage all year round! Playful harbor seals often frolic right beyond the large backyard, stopping to observe guests!

We aim to create an experience for our guests to retreat from the chaos of everyday life by providing an array of activities such as hiking, bird watching, and kayaking. The Seadrift lagoon is perfect for a peaceful swim with views of Mt Tamalpais and the private tennis courts are just steps away from the property. (sd311)
